The Best of 2021 | Weddings
Can you believe that we are already at the end of 2021? Or, should I say FINALLY at the end of it. This year has been better than 2020 could ever be, but it was still challenging. Despite its challenges, we shot some amazing weddings that I am so proud of. Here are the best of 2021 weddings!
The good news is I was able to get back to business! Despite COVID restrictions, I was still able to capture some beautiful weddings. I can’t wait to share with you my favorite weddings from 2021.
BEST WEDDING VENUE
Our year began with our first wedding in March at Bass Lake Pines Resort. This was the best wedding venue because the location was so beautiful! The staff was extremely helpful and made the entire day run smoothly. Padei and Chee had planned their wedding for 2020 but, because of COVID, they had to reschedule. As disappointing as it was for them, it turned out to be a blessing. Their wedding day was PERFECT! The weather was beautiful; everything was gorgeous. I can’t wait to show you my favorite images from their wedding.

BEST INTIMATE WEDDING
In April, we had a small elopement ceremony at Wolf Lakes Park. Nichole and Justin shared their vows in front of just their parents and Justin’s two children. It was the sweetest wedding we have ever photographed, which is why it is the best intimate wedding.
BEST TRADITIONAL WEDDING
May brought us Alondra and Carlos’s wedding. They had a Catholic Mass ceremony at St. Catherine of Siena in Dinuba, CA. They celebrated with their closest family and friends at their family home. Alondra was a stunning bride!

BEST PORTRAITS
Lindsey and Micah’s June wedding was a dream. They had planned to get married in Italy, but COVID derailed their plans so, they opted for an elegant backyard wedding at her parent’s home. I captured some of my best portraits to date at their wedding. I can’t wait for you to see some of my favorites.

BEST DESTINATION WEDDING
My favorite wedding of the year is Mikayla and Taylor’s Lake Tahoe wedding. It was EPIC, and my first destination wedding. This wedding could fall into the category of best venue and best portrait location. How can Lake Tahoe not bet the best for everything?

BEST STYLE
We celebrated three weddings in October. Sabrina and Chris’s was our first. They also changed their original wedding plans due to COVID. Their Disneyland wedding became an intimate backyard wedding. It was sweet, tender, and perfect for them. Their boho vibe and inviting lounge area gives this wedding the best style.

BEST LOVE STORY
Next, Crystal and Johnny’s wedding at Kings River Winery. Loss and trauma brought these two together. They have learned to depend on each other through the hard times. Their glamorous wedding allowed me to capture some beautiful details and their portraits were stunning!

BEST SECOND CHANCE
Our last October wedding was with Hope and Scott, a second chance at love that we captured on our wedding anniversary! Their gracious friends not only hosted the wedding in their backyard, but they also planned the whole thing for them!

BEST BEACH PORTRAITS
Finally, our last wedding of the year was another destination wedding on the Central Coast. Reanna and Mason are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet and were so laid back. I just loved celebrating their wedding with them. Their portraits on the beach are my all time favorite. They are beautiful!
