CRYSTAL + JOHNNY | KINGS RIVER WINERY WEDDING

A Kings River Winery Wedding | Sanger, CA

This Kings River Winery wedding gave me another check on my bucket list of venues where I want to shoot! It did not disappoint. The staff were so kind and helpful and the venue was perfect. As I entered the small house where the girls were getting ready I could hear the laughter of the bridesmaids. They were in their matching robes with their hair and makeup done to perfection. I said hello to Crystal and was introduced to her ELEVEN sweet bridesmaids and I just knew that it was going to be a good day!! I felt so loved and welcomed. I got started on all the beautiful bridal details and before I knew it we were heading to the first look.

Crystal and Johnny shared their first look with their wedding party smiling and cheering them on in the background. It was a warm October afternoon with fruit flies swarming us. Harvest season is up on us and there is just no way of getting around them. Before we knew it, it was time for them to get married!! I loved watching Crystal and Johnny through their ceremony. They shared laughs, their friends shed tears, and they were married by a high school friend of Johnny’s. It was just the best ceremony. Crystal and Johnny have such a sweet relationship. I loved capturing them with their best friends, but my favorite part of the day was taking portraits of just the two of them and allowing them to have a few minutes together, away from the crowd. Their wedding day was so beautiful!! Crystal and Johnny love their families and it was VERY obvious that they love their friends. They were surrounded by their friends from high school, childhood, work, etc. It’s such a special thing to have all of the people that you love in ONE place!!

Once the dancing started it was game on! Their friends and family did not hold back. With DJ Toe-Knee (Tony Sosa) mixing the music, the dance floor was never empty. We had packed up our gear and getting ready to leave but the dance floor was going crazy! We unpacked our cameras and a flash and stayed an extra hour just to capture all the fun they were having!
