Wedding at Moravia Wines | Bee + CJ
It is finally time to share Bee and Cj’s wedding at Moravia Wines! Their wedding was bursting with shades of my favorite color. It was a dream! The day was a warm 96 degree OCTOBER day, but it was still absolutely wonderful.
Bee and CJ opted not to do a first look, so we got all of Bee’s bridal portraits and pictures with her girls out of the way before the ceremony. We got her into hiding before CJ arrived and got his portraits with the guys.
The girls wore a variety of dresses in the most beautiful shades of purple. Bee thought of everything and had a specific place for each of her girls to stand so that the colors flowed well. Every time we took a group photo Bee would yell, “Formation!” and the girls knew exactly where to stand.
There are a few things about their wedding that stood out for me. For starters, they got married where my husband and I got married. Whenever I get to shoot a wedding here I am reminded of our wedding day and it just makes me happy. Another highlight was Bee and CJ included their dogs and that just made my heart melt. They were dressed in their best tuxedos and joined mom and dad at the alter. Finally, it was the lantern send off in honor of CJ’s grandmother that made their wedding day extra special!
CJ and BEE passed out a large lantern to each table and gave guests time to write messages on their lanterns. Once everyone was ready they made their way to where CJ and Bee said their vows, lit the lanterns and sent them up into the sky. You just had to be there to witness how truly special it was and how beautiful the sky was as the glowing lanterns drifted off into the distance.
The rest of the night guests danced the night away. It was quite the party! I can’t wait for you to see some of my favorite images from this stunning wedding at Moravia Wines!
