Moravia Wines Wedding | Keeley + Jesse
Keeley and Jesse’s Moravia Wines wedding started off with a good dose of rain. We were all in shock because it never rains in October! As I drove to the venue, I worried Keeley might be stressed about the rain and what it would do to her portraits. I called her to assure her that, no matter what, we would make it work. She was surprisingly calm and just rolled with it.
As soon as I arrived, I headed to an orchard we planned to use for first look and portraits. I wanted to see how saturated the ground was. Well, the ground was the least of my worries. The orchard was completely gone! The entire orchard had been torn out and new trees were planted. I’m not going to lie. I was starting to panic.
I decided to head back to the venue thinking we’d just do all the portraits where I had planned on doing the family portraits. On my way back, I came across another orchard that would work perfectly, and the rain had stopped. Things were looking up!
When I got back to the venue, I let Keeley know that everything was going to be perfect. I had no idea how true my words were. Their wedding day was absolutely perfect!
There’s nothing I love more than watching two people who are madly in love spend their wedding day soaking up every minute and exploding with joy. That’s exactly what Keeley and Jesse did. These two never stopped smiling, and it was just the sweetest thing!
Keeley and Jesse’s wedding day was special for so many reasons! For starters, they got married at the same venue where Todd and I got married! It was fun to reminisce about our own wedding day while celebrating theirs. It was an honor to share something so special with them. We both exchanged vows under the same pergola.
