San Joaquin River | Maternity
We had the most glorious light for his San Joaquin River Parkway session. It was the kind of light that photographers dream of! Natural light photographers do, anyway. There are too many favorite images from this session because the lighting was so perfect. Of course, it didn’t hurt that my clients were adorable!
THE CLIENTS
Amy and Richard are returning clients! I had the privilege of taking their maternity portraits when they were expecting their son. Now, we are back together in preparation to welcome their little girl. They are so excited to complete their family!
They were joined by their family for this session. All of their siblings came out to be a part of the session. Amy’s sisters are so excited to be aunties of her little girl. She is going to be spoiled and will have her own hair and makeup team for years to come! Amy and her sisters have so much love for each other and look out for each other, which is how sisters should be. When this little girl arrives, she will have a tribe of women looking out for her too.
THE LOCATION
This location is my absolute favorite place to take portraits. There is so much variety to choose from for portraits. There are two barns on the property. One barn is old and rustic. It’s the perfect backdrop for portraits. Also on the property is a 100-year-old farmhouse. I love using the front porch and front steps for pictures. It makes for a beautiful background as well. In front of the house is a small pond and a huge tree. In the spring, when everything is in bloom, it’s magical.
This location has become a client favorite and the most highly requested for portraits. Each time I am there I try to challenge myself to see things differently so each gallery looks unique and personal to my clients. I can’t for you to see these images!
