Old Fig Garden Wedding | Fresno, CA
Some weddings have a way of making you feel like you’re stepping into a love story already in progress—and this one was no exception. Set in the groom’s grandparents’ lush backyard in Fresno’s historic Old Fig Garden, this intimate celebration was the perfect blend of timeless romance and meaningful simplicity.
The couple’s story began in the most charming way—behind the counter of a local coffee shop. What started as coworkers quickly became a close friendship within a tight-knit friend group. Over time, the connection deepened, and the line between friend and partner blended into love.
Lysandra was radiant in a fitted gown with bardot sleeves that added a soft elegance to her look. She wore a fingertip veil that caught the golden light perfectly. Her bridesmaids stood beside her in a shades of olive green, each dress slightly different, yet all echoing the natural, earthy tones of the garden surroundings.
The groom looked classic and sharp in a black suit with an ivory tie, while his groomsmen matched his suit but added their own touch with olive green ties, creating a subtle, stylish cohesion.
The ceremony was deeply personal and faith-filled. Surrounded by family and close friends, the couple incorporated worship and communion into their vows, turning the moment into more than a celebration—it was a sacred covenant, filled with reverence and heartfelt emotion.
After the heartfelt ceremony, guests were treated to a delicious Italian dinner catered by local favorite Mama Mia’s. Laughter and conversation filled the air as guests enjoyed pasta, strawberry lemonade, and the warmth of good company beneath strings of glowing lights.
The evening ended on a high note with a magical sparkler exit, lighting the pathway as the couple ran hand-in-hand into the start of their new chapter.
This wedding was a celebration of love, faith, and community—proof that when two people are surrounded by a strong foundation of friendship, faith, and support, something truly beautiful can grow.
