Mother-Daughter Session – Bass Lake
Jamie wanted mother-daughter portraits in Bass lake so we packed up our gear and headed for the mountains! It was a beautiful day with all the glowy light a photographer could ask for. Their red outfits popped off the green background.
Harlow is definitely made up of sugar and spice and everything nice with a side of sass and spunk. Wait until you see her little portrait session. She was all about her moment in front of the camera.
Let’s start the scroll through this session!
This session was on Jamie’s late mother’s birthday, which made their mother-daughter session even more special. While I was taking these portraits of Harlow I noticed a rainbow appeared in the shot (see left image at the bottom). There was nothing on my lens and it wasn’t sun flare because no matter how I turned, it was there. Jamie wanted me to keep it because she felt it was her mama there with them that day.
While we were busy setting up these shots, my daughter was off to the side listening for cars heading our way. It took quite a few tries to get these because we kept having to run out of the road to let cars by. We got some exercise and good laughs out of it.
It was pretty late in the fall when we did this session. Almost all of the fall colors were gone. We found this one little spot near the lake with just a little tiny bit of fall left around it. It wasn’t ideal but it worked.
Harlow wanted to end the session being Ariel.
