A Boho Wedding | Hobbs Grove
This stunning boho wedding at Hobbs Grove most definitely takes the cake. Terracotta accents and gorgeous pampas plumes set the stage for this laid-back party overflowing with glam details.
From first meeting in a high school PE class to getting reacquainted at a $5 concert, a sweet surprise proposal in Morro Bay, surrounded by family, was the kickoff to this dreamy boho wedding at Hobbs Grove.
Kimbrerlee, along with her favorite ladies, got ready in the bridal suite at Hobbs Grove. Her hair and makeup team knocked it out of the park! The bridesmaids wore Azazie gowns in terracotta and beautiful personalized necklaces gifted by Kimberlee.
After an emotional private first touch and prayer with Derek, Kimberlee headed back to the bridal suite for a tearful first look with her dad. She presented him with cufflinks and a tie that had a special picture of the two of them stitched onto the back.
The bohemian decor for both the ceremony and reception was provided by the groom’s mother, Susy, of Beauty in the Details. Terracotta accents, pottery vases filled with lush pampas, and a gorgeous raw wood structure set the scene for the ceremony.
Kimberlee walked down the aisle on her father’s arm wearing a stunning fitted lace wedding dress with a plunging V-neckline and back that perfectly accentuated her curves. The tears of joy that Derek shed as he watched his bride walk toward him were so sweet. Kimberlee and Derek were joined together in marriage by their brother-in-law Jeff. The ceremony was simple but heartfelt with personal vows to each other. To signify their union, Derek and Kimberlee took a shot from a custom made shotski!
After the ceremony, guests headed to cocktail hour and a hearty grazing table made up of two 8-ft. tables covered with a variety of fruits, vegetables, meats and cheeses, nuts, olives, and, crackers. Once portraits wrapped up, the couple headed right into their reception. The mix of terracotta, raw wood and lush pampas elements were continued into the reception decor.
Once everyone was full from their taco truck dinner, the pair shared their first dance with each other and their parents, followed by everyone partying the night away.
I can’t wait to share this gorgeous boho wedding with you! Kimberlee and Derek, THANK YOU for letting me be a part of your special day and your life together. You are both a blessing!
