Fresno Mural District | Senior Session
This downtown Fresno Mural District senior session was a bit unique because we incorporated best friends James and Gabe. James and Gabe have been been best friends since the 4th grade. They both perform in the drumline of their high school’s marching band. James is ready to put his sticks down and move on from band. Gabe is going to continue on a musical path and major in Jazz performance.
I have known James’s parents for years. I was so thrilled when his mom asked if I would take his senior pictures. It was a bonus when she said his best friend wanted me to do his too and wanted me to do some shots with them together.
We headed downtown to the mural district. We are so lucky to live in a place that values the arts and gives artists wonderful opportunities to use their talents on the empty walls of buildings. If you live in Fresno, take a drive downtown, park, and WALK around to see all the amazing art. You have to go into some alleys to see some hidden gems. I found new things during this session that were so cool!
I for sure love a good outdoor session in nature, but getting a chance to shoot downtown and utilize all the cool buildings and textures is my jam too!
