Looking for Something Particular?

Senior portraits are about celebrating a life stage. Your entire senior year is filled with milestones, and it is definitely one worth noting and celebrating in many ways, including senior portraits. It’s not only your last year of high school, but so much more. It’s your last year with the friends you grew up with, your last year at home, and your last year of truly being under your parents wings.

Teneil was one of my students when she was in the 4th grade, and again in 5th grade when I changed grade levels the following year. We were very close back then and I am so blessed that we have kept close over the years.

We headed downtown to the mural district. We are so lucky to live in a place that values the arts and gives artists wonderful opportunities to use their talents on the empty walls of buildings. If you live in Fresno, take a drive downtown, park, and WALK around to see all the amazing art. You have to go into some alleys to see some hidden gems. I found new things during this session that were so cool!

Ashley will be attending Biola University in the fall. She will be studying to become a pediatric oncology nurse. Talk about using your personal experiences to help others!

Shelby moved next door to us when she and my daughter, Lauren, were in the 3rd grade. I was so excited that a girl my daughter’s age had moved in and she would have another friend to play with! I couldn’t wait to take Lauren over to meet her, but Lauren was having nothing to do with it.

Claudia chose the Shinzen Japanese Gardens in Woodward Park for her session. It is so pretty there!! I was fortunate to not only shoot her senior portraits but also her prom pictures!! Watch out world…Claudia is coming for you!!

It was such a pleasure capturing her senior portraits. It’s so surreal that the little girls that used to play together are now graduating together. This is why photos are so important. Life goes by too quickly, we have to freeze time in an image so those moments aren’t forgotten!

Catie is a kick!@# girl. She is a member of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps. She aspires to join the Coast Guard some day. She is also an active member of her school’s marching band and jazz band playing the saxophone. One thing that is sure about Catie…if she sets her mind to it she WILL accomplish it! Can’t wait to see where the world takes her!
